National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) approved

NeuroRehab Allied Health Network is a registered provider of therapeutic supports under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). NDIS participants can choose who delivers their services. We work with participants in the planning stage to answer any questions regarding their therapy needs. For those with plans already approved, we are equipped to establish service agreements to provide the therapies required.

The NDIS website at www.ndis.gov.au has extensive information to assist potential participants with the process of registering for services.

We provide a full range of therapeutic supports and therapy assistant options for NDIS participants which are funded under the capacity building and core support categories.

Are you covered?

In instances where an injury sustained is compensable or funded through a NDIS plan, there will be no upfront fees. We invoice insurers directly. The level of cover for therapy provided by private health insurers varies, so check with your provider to find out exactly what your policy covers.

Physiotherapy, exercise physiology and occupational therapy services are eligible for a Medicare rebate under the Chronic Disease Management program for up to five sessions per year. To be eligible, your GP must provide us with your application information prior to sessions being scheduled.


No referral required

No doctor’s referral is required to obtain our services. You may be referred by a family member, friend, carer, health professional or funding body.

Accounts and Payments

Where funding for supports is covered by a third party (e.g. NDIS, TAC, WorkSafe) our team will invoice the agency directly at the agency’s or our standard private rates.

For private and self-managing NDIS clients, we accept payments by cash, credit card, EFT or cheque.

Our clinics have HICAPS facilities where private health insurance and Medicare rebates can be claimed directly. Alternatively you can claim back entitlements directly from your fund. Home-based clients will have invoices and receipts sent to their nominated contact on a fortnightly basis. Our preferred payment method is via internet bank transfer.

Private fee increases occur on 1 July annually.

Third party fee schedules are adopted as the provider changes their rates.

Payment terms on accounts are 14 days from the date of invoice.

If an account becomes significantly in arrears, NeuroRehab Allied Health Network may reduce or place a hold on services until payment is made. We will contact you to discuss this prior to commencing. If you experience difficulty making payment, please contact us to discuss options. If a bill remains unpaid, a further bill will be sent advising the invoice will be forwarded to a debt collection agency. In this event, the client is liable for costs associated with enlisting the assistance of the collection agency.


Cancellations

We like to make every therapy session count toward reaching your goals. If you are unable to attend a scheduled appointment, please ensure you let us know at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. The more notice you give, the better opportunity there will be for your therapist to find an alternative time to work with you. If notice is provided after this time we will charge the full fee for the appointment.

Should a regular appointment time no longer be suitable, we encourage you to talk with your therapist to see what other options are available.

If we need to cancel or change your appointment, we will give you as much notice as possible and offer an alternative appointment where available.
