The nest – let’s get cracking!
The nest is a multidisciplinary program which runs over your first six months. It aims to teach you what you need to know to hit the ground running, giving you a head start to thrive in your career at NeuroRehab!
We provide you with fun and supportive environments to meet other early career team members. We also have social events every three months, so you can regularly connect and have fun with your colleagues.
Support to develop your skills
Each discipline has an early career program to help you up-skill in common neurological assessment and treatment techniques.
We offer up to $4,000 and four professional development (PD) days so you can attend your chosen PD events, and we host the most popular external PD courses in rehabilitation where attendance for our therapy team is free!
We have programs to build your clinical and non-clinical skills and we will share with you the endless opportunities we have at NeuroRehab to support career development across four main career pathways.
Career pathways
Lots of supervision to help you feel supported
In your first three months, you will get weekly supervision from a Senior Therapist every week. The support will slowly decrease as you become more confident until the seven-month mark, when supervision settles to once every four weeks.
Our supervisors are experienced
Our supervisors are Senior Therapists and have completed clinical supervision training. They are passionate and experienced therapists who love to share their knowledge with our newest team members.
KPIs – let’s start slowly
We understand there is a lot to learn in the first six to twelve months. To allow time for you to build confidence and skills as a neuro therapist, your KPI targets will slowly increase each month in this induction period.
Buddy – need help or have questions?
We know how comforting it is to have a friend to whom you can ask questions. As a new team member, you will be paired with a Peer Support Buddy to support you and be someone you can ask for help.
