NeuroJunior school holiday intensive programs

School holidays are a powerful opportunity for children who need physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology or exercise physiology to make meaningful progress.

Little and often – build skills faster, embed change and make it stick

We know the brain is capable of change, and it changes faster with the right input, delivered little and often. A school holiday intensive provides exactly that — focused, repeated practice without the interruptions of the school term.

Why an intensive works

During the school term, therapy often competes with busy routines, fatigue, and limited practice time. In contrast, a holiday intensive allows children to:

  • Practice skills more frequently

  • Revisit learning across multiple sessions

  • Build confidence through repetition

  • Embed new movement patterns, routines, or communication strategies.

This approach is ideal for helping children learn a new skill, refine an existing one, or reset habits that are hard to shift with weekly sessions alone.

What a holiday intensive program can support

A NeuroJunior holiday intensive program can support children to:

  • Improve movement quality, strength, or coordination

  • Develop fine motor, self‑care, or classroom‑ready skills

  • Build speech clarity, language, or social communication

  • Establish new routines or therapy strategies which can carry into school.

Programs are individualised, goal‑focused, and designed to be both effective and engaging.

Designed for carry‑over

Our goal isn’t just progress during the school holidays, it’s progress which lasts. We focus on:

  • Skills children can use at home, school, and in the community

  • Clear strategies for parents and caregivers

  • Helping children return to school with confidence and momentum.
