We offer a home and community visit Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy service throughout Geelong and surrounds. Additional services are available via Telehealth. We have two locations:

GYM – Dash, 2/8 Lewalan St, Grovedale VIC 3216
OFFICE – Gateways, 12-14 Thompson Rd, North Geelong VIC 3215

Our Geelong team are experienced in aids and equipment.

Our Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists work closely together to provide appropriate postural supports and mobility options. We can prescribe, apply for funding, and set up aids and equipment to help you live safely and independently in your own home and community. This might include wheelchairs, commodes, transfer aids, home automation and recreational equipment.

We can also help with:

  • Manual handling assessment and training to ensure you can move from one surface to another safely and easily;

  • Clinical training to care givers, support workers and Allied Health Assistants to support home or community exercises, safe mobility, and posture management;

  • Home modification to enable you to move more freely at home and to perform all activities which are important to you;

  • Exploring housing options including SDA, SIL and ILO reports.

Isabela

Isabela completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in Brazil in 2005 and Australia in 2013 from Curtin University. She has worked in private and community settings and has a passion for neurological rehabilitation and helping clients to achieve their goals. Isabela worked at Rocky Bay and Physioconcept in Western Australia and has experience with a variety of neuromuscular conditions including acquired brain injury, muscular dystrophies, spinal cord injury, Parkinson’s disease, Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, and Guillain-Barre Syndrome. Isabela has additional training in 24-hour postural care and wheelchair prescription. She speaks fluent Portuguese and English, and basic Spanish.

Pav has experience in acute settings as well as community settings. She has experience working with people post stroke, spinal cord injury, people with a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis, polio and cerebral palsy. Pav brings her incredible enthusiasm and fun nature into her therapy and believes clients can achieve so much. Outside of work, Pav enjoys exercising on a daily basis, from the beach to the mountains. Pav says, “I am super passionate about working with people with neurological conditions and I believe working together as a team with my clients can change their life and improve their quality of life – it is just incredible to watch their wins!”

Occupational Therapist –
Team Leader

Imogen has worked in private and community Occupational Therapy practices for four years with a variety of clients with a range of different diagnosis, disabilities and goals. She has worked with NDIS, TAC & My Aged Care clients and has experience with AT prescription, complex home modification, seating assessments, independent living skills and housing assessments. Imogen has a keen interest in brain injury and enjoys facilitating social therapy groups for those with brain injuries. Imogen always pursues a team approach to ensure the best outcomes possible. She also enjoys complex seating assessments. Imogen says, “I like playing A-grade netball and powerlifting. I am in the gym 5 nights a week – my favourite achievement being my 172kg deadlift! I love walking my two dogs and enjoy exploring the many beaches surrounding Geelong. My partner and I are keen to travel all of Australia one day in our camper trailer”.

Prior to joining NeuroRehab, Monique worked in public health settings gaining experience across acute, inpatient and community sectors, and developing a strong interest in neurological care and rehabilitation. Monique is passionate about upper limb and cognitive therapy. She will complete her Graduate Diploma in Psychology in 2022 and hopes to integrate these new skills further into her practice. Monique says, “Outside of work I like to spend time with my border collie puppy Nala, and exploring the beaches around Geelong.”

Senior Occupational Therapist – Level 1
(BOT)

Charlotte has worked with people on the NDIS as an occupational therapist since graduating from Australian Catholic University in 2019. Charlotte is studying a Masters in Disability Studies focusing in vision impairment. She has a special interest in supporting adults, as well as teenagers in the transition to adulthood. She has extensive assistive technology prescription experience, including complex seating assessments, and experience in complex home modifications and housing assessments. Charlotte has also worked as a sessional tutor for Australian Catholic University teaching occupational therapy students about assistive technology, alongside her usual clinical work. Outside of work, you will find Charlotte exploring different waterways by kayak around the Geelong and Surf Coast region

Sarah has experience working in an NDIS community role where she worked with Autistic children and adults, ADHDers and people with intellectual disabilities. She is particularly interested in helping people with neurological conditions to have the best quality of life possible. Sarah loves building rapport with clients in their own environments and supporting them to increase their independence. Sarah’s hobbies include keeping fit at the gym, socialising with friends, and travelling to explore the world.
